Description

This is the special edition of the Haze, featuring photos from Lorenz Holder, the pro Nitro Team's photographer. Apart from the graphics, the board is the same as the Haze. Same features, same capabilities. A freestyle twin with a pretty soft flex allowing for effortless shredding. Pop-wise, it's a blast, it goes huge and does it with style. You don't want your tricks done just above the ground do you ? The board's playful and fun, offering a good dose of freestyle performance for an unbeatable price. A nice toy that every riders need to get their hands on.

What our testers say : Back in the line, the Haze made it through 2012 and is ready for more. It comes with a softer flex, a Zero camber and a Powercore? These are the secrets ingredients for the pop. Small or light riders will enjoy the board particularly if they need something to climb walls with or trash the park. No need to be super skilled, the board's not demanding at all and can be ridden by beginners willing to progress. Note that the board works perfectly on pistes, but may be a little difficult to manoeuver on powder.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
