Description

The Nitro Karma is a directional snowboard with a pronounced camber and setback foot stance. It is very precise on groomed runs and shines in carved turns. Thanks to the setback foot stance, turns are easy to initiate and the board is dynamic without being too demanding thanks to the balanced-flex offered by the Powercore core, while the full camber profile provides maximum grip and rebound. You will have lots of fun linking carved turns with style, precision and power. Thanks to the tapered shape and setback foot stance it also works perfectly well off-piste. It floats easily and is manoeuvrable to slash powder between the trees. Skilled female snowboarders will have a blast riding various terrains and will enjoy the possibility to shred hard while benefiting from good riding comfort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
