Appreciated for its ability to go over all types of snow while maintaining a lot of manoeuvrability and playability, the Nitro Mystique provides happiness to a wide range of snowboarders. A great board for a versatile freestyle practice or just to leisurely enjoy the whole resort.  

What is the program of the Nitro Mystique snowboard?  

The Nitro Mystique has the particularity of being equipped with a hybrid camber, which mixes a classic camber section with inverted camber sections. This design offers an excellent compromise between grip and forgiveness on hard snow, making it safe in terms of edge faults, while working better in fresh snow than a pure classic camber board. This technical choice is accompanied by a slightly set back position of the feet, which makes turns easier and provides an even better edge clearance in the snow. Finally, the flexible flex makes the Mystique even easier to handle while, accompanied by a perfectly symmetrical shape from nose to tail, it invites you to place freestyle tricks such as small butters or a 180°.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
