Description

You've always wanted to learn how to snowboard...and how to weave. The Spell is for you. This good-looking piece of art was designed to meet the needs of demanding women freestylers. Twin-shaped, the board comes with a PowerCore II which is a poplar core reinforced with 2 stringers of beech. That delivers an incredible reactivity from edge to edge and a greater pop with a more responsive feel. Nitro gave the board their Flat Out Rocker profile. A winning combination between a flat midsection and rockers through the tips. The perfect compromise between stability, precision, playfulness and floatation. Perfect for shredding all day and add more tricks onto your to-do list.

What our testers say : Twin tipped board for women riders with an intermediate or advanced level who tend to spend most of the day shredding the park. The board's got tons of pop and delivers a nice stable feel through landings. It's also very lively and grippy despite the lack of camber. It's ideal for training on new tricks without killing your legs or catching an edge every new try. Great freestyle board on the edge performance and playfulness.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
