Description

Why that name ? Because releasing such a gem requires team work. Designers, testers, pro riders.... It is not an easy task to mix performance and easiness into one board, but Nitro used its magic stick and just did it. They release a versatile board, efficient, and affordable. Ha ! What can you say ?

The Team series will give priority to support on hard snow. Very compact and grippy, it will excel at carving. Reinforced with fiber glass, the glide feel is optimum.

What our testers say : Very similar to the Team Gullwing but with a classic camber. Nitro wanted to keep all characteristics from the Gullwing, but provide more grip and snap. The board is extremely precise on piste, which implies more technicity and less forgiveness. Recommended for advanced level riders giving priority to the pistes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
