The Nitro Team is a versatile board, perfect to ride on very terrain. It has a directional twin shape, dynamic flex, while remaining playful and features an aggressive traditional camber profile. 

What is the programme of the Nitro Team snowboard? 

The Nitro Team has a directional twin shape, for great versatility and optimal manoeuvrability to enjoy excellent freestyle abilities. Thanks to the symmetrical nose and tail, you can ride switch to spice things up. The directional aspect, with a setback foot stance, facilitates turn initiations and guarantees quicker lift on powder. Regarding the construction, you’ll find a wood core reinforced by fiberglass, a proven combination, that provides a dynamic flex while remaining playful at the tips. Finally, the pronounced traditional camber on the entire length of the board offers excellent grip on hardpack and groomed snow, to enhance the power of the wood core, pop big ollies and get rebound out of carved turns.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
