The Nitro Team is an all-terrain and versatile snowboard. Featuring a directional twin shape and dynamic flex, it maintains a playful dimension thanks to its aggressive traditional camber.

What is the Nitro Team snowboard made for?

The Nitro Team boasts a directional twin shape, offering great versatility and optimal manoeuvrability, perfect for freestyle. Thanks to the symmetry of the tail and nose, you can ride switch at any moment to mix things up. The directional aspect, with inserts slightly set back, makes it easier to initiate turns and ensures better float in powder. In terms of construction, it features a wood core reinforced with fibreglass, providing a dynamic flex while maintaining playfulness at the tips. The pronounced traditional camber along the entire length of the board offers excellent grip on hardpack and groomers, maximising the core's energy for powerful ollies and responsive carved turns.

Who is the Nitro Team snowboard aimed at?

The Nitro Team is ideal for intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking to diversify their skills. It excels on groomers, offers good float in powder, and is comfortable in freestyle. This board is perfectly suited for those with an intermediate to advanced level.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
