Description

Loyal to the brand' spirit, the Timeless Freeride hides character behind its sober look. The board is not a revolution but it featureswhat the brand does best and has proven to be efficient and durable. The bamboo topsheet gives the board a gorgeous finish which will probably make you want hang it on the wall.

What can the Palmer Timeless Freeride do?

With a generous 270mm waist, a directional shape and rockered tips, the Timeless Freeride is a board with powder ambitions. The board floats on the deep like a surfboard and manoeuvers with the agility of a snake. It is a modern board in the sense that it is one of those new freeride-oriented boards with a soft flex pattern and lots of pop making it more playful than regular freeride sticks. Throw it on any slopes the mountain has to offer, preferrably covered of powder, and enjoy yourself. Cornice, couloirs, cliff? No worries, if you have the skills, the board does the rest. Its wide platform ensures optimal landings and keeps you above surface no matter how deep the snow is. And if there is no powder around, the board will happily carve trenches on groomers thanks to its cambered profile offering grip and reactivity. See? You can use the Timeless Freeride any day, you will never be disappointed.

Who is the Palmer Timeless Freeride designed for?

It is not the easiest board ever. Wider than most boards, riders with small feet will find it bulky. We recommend it to advanced freeride-oriented riders who want a go-to board that can do it all with ease. Its favorite playground remains the ungroomed part of the mountain, and it's a board that likes to ride fast.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
