Description

The Ride Compact is a snowboard designed to let you ride everywhere. The directional shape with lots of rocker on the front, a little classic camber between the feet and a very light rocker on the back, results in a board that's super easy to ride, with playful curve entries and automatic lift-off in powder. The WMNS Performance wood core offers an accessible flex that's easy to get to grips with, yet still responsive. The Compact is a real pleasure for riders of all levels, both on and off the slopes. Last but not least, the Slimewalls reinforcements against the edges of the board bring cushioning for more comfort on descents, while making the board more robust.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
