Description

The HELLCAT by Ride is probably one of the best tool to help women make men regret the fact they challenged them. This women’s board may be cute as a kitten, it’s got the claws and the aggressivity of a tiger.

What can the Ride HELLCAT women’s snowboard do?

If you can’t help riding fast, if your daily challenge is to lay as little turns as possible and if your friends call you the charger, then the Hellcat is for you. It is a powerful, aggressive, responsive and snappy board that’s got what it takes to turn you in a pro rider. Speaking about that, the Hellcat is the board of choice of Hana Beaman, one of Ride’s team rider and it was designed as such. The Carbon Slimewalls and the traditional camber deliver pop and response for those who know about freestyle and the rockered nose offer the floatation that backcountry riders love. The Hellcat is an outstanding performer that can shred anything anyhow. Say goodbye to your friends cause all they’re going to see from you is your back.

Who is the Ride HELLCAT snowboard designed for?

We recommend the Hellcat to women riders with an advanced or an expert level who look for a powerful and versatile board that can shred on and off piste with ease.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
