Description

The Ride Lowride combines all the necessary elements in order to enable children to start snowboarding with maximum ease. Available in many sizes, it will allow even the very youngest to begin, with a specific place to attach a rope to be pulled on a flat surface.

What is the program of the Ride Lowride snowboard?

The Lowride is the perfect snowboard for a smooth start. Everything is designed to make learning easier. It has a flexible flex, offered by a real wood core, particularly adapted to small sizes. On the other hand, it benefits from an inverted camber, which is the most tolerant profile in terms of edge faults. This makes it possible to learn how to skid, pivot and then turn on the edge without fear of making a mistake at the slightest deviation. Finally, the symmetrical shape makes it possible to slide in either direction, just to get used to switching as quickly as possible! With the Lowride, progress is fast enabling the progression from green to blue tracks in a few sessions!

Who is the Ride Lowride snowboard for?

The Lowride is perfect for children, enabling progression in snowboarding with all the right conditions to progress quickly.

What are the main qualities of the Ride Lowride snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
