Description

The Ride Manic features a core reinforced by carbon beams, providing a soft and friendly directional flex as well as stability and playfulness. The camber profile is directional as well, with more rocker at the nose than the tail and traditional camber between the inserts. You will enjoy grip on hardpack, to carve groomers, but also a good ability to lift for off-piste fresh snow. This profile facilitates turn initiations, so does the setback foot stance. As the nose and tail are the same width, the board is well-balanced to ride switch and throw tricks. The Manic is a nimble snowboard that will enable intermediate snowboarders to progress on every terrain and snow condition. Advanced riders will appreciate its playfulness and riding comfort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
