Description

The Warpig by Ride has just won a new Snowboard World Championship title thanks to the team rider Brandon Davis. The board is a freestyle-oriented all-mountain machine designed to deliver more fun in variable conditions.

What can the Ride WARPIG snowboard do?

This is a shorter, wider and tapered snowboard offering plenty of float and tons of manoeuvering without compromising playfulness and feel. The directional rocker makes it easy to move around in all conditions while the Carbon Array and Performance Core keep reactivity and pop at their best. Indeed, despite this directional shape the board likes to be taken in the park for a few laps before exploring the wild backcountry. Its nimble and innovative shape makes it an excellent all-rounder suited for creative riders who want to have a board that doesn’t look like any other.

Who is the Ride WARPIG snowboard designed for?

Excellent choice if you are medium to advanced level and if you look for a super versatile snowboard. The Warpig is super agile thanks to its profile and shorter length and super fun to rider through the mountain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
