Description

Due to its wide and angular shape and its graphics, the Warpig does not go unnoticed. Its spatulas give the impression of having been planed and allow, at the same length, to have a more effective edge than a standard shape snowboard. Designed to be ridden slightly shorter, we advise you to choose it 4 to 7 cm below your usual board size.

What is the program of the Ride Warpig snowboard?

The Warpig is equipped with an alternative shape that offers a program that straddles freestyle and freeride. Thus, its shape is tapered, particularly in order to have a natural flotation in powder snow, but the position of the feet remains centered as on a freestyle board making it well balanced and comfortable when switching. The large rocker at the front, flat camber and light rocker at the back provide great fluidity and comfort on all terrain, with ultra-smooth transitions between turns. It remains stable and tonic on hard snow thanks to its wood shell and cross carbon reinforcements in the spatulas that increase torsional stiffness. It's really a surprising board, fun to ride on all types of snow while offering real freestyle skills.

Who is the Ride Warpig snowboard for?

This model will please an intermediate/confirmed snowboarder looking for a board with endless possibilities.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
