Description

The Garage Rocker is a wallet-friendly and guilt-free board to purchase. Rome managed to pull the costs as low as possible without sacrificing the quality of the board. The idea was to built a board that you can throw anywhere without regrets. A board that eats rails and kickers voraciously, a board that climbs walls and stomps ledges. Twin shaped, soft flex and Reverse Free Stringer technology are parts of its DNA. Get ready for a blast.

What our testers say : An excellent value for money, if not the best. The reverse rocker turns the board into a floaty boat and a press-friendly toy. The board is so agile that any move becomes easy. We thoroughly recommend the board to riders with a beginner to intermediate level who wish to attempt freestyling without having to sacrifice piste and powder fun. Advanced freestylers should like the price of it. They'll have no regrets grinding it onto a concrete ledge.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
