Snowboard Heist

The Rome Heist has a wooden shell reinforced with a bamboo stringer to provide more ollie pop and responsiveness in turns. Stable and easy to ride on the slopes, its symmetrical shape will also make it a good ally for snowpark and freestyle.

What is the Rome Heist snowboarding programme?

The Heist is really versatile, accessible and ideal for progressing throughout the resort. Its medium flex allows any physique to ride it without difficulty, while remaining stable thanks to its Stomp Core wood shell. To set the rhythm on the piste, you benefit from the grip of the classic camber and the boost of the bamboo reinforcement. For fun on the edges of the piste, the spatula rockers improve glide on powder snow. Finally, the symmetrical shape and the playful flex allow you to try your hand at freestyle without problems, so head for the snowpark!

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.

Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
