Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Rene-Gade is a versatile snowboard with freestyle DNA, cut to play all over the resort while remaining fun to ride on piste. Its classic camber provides the nerve to engage hard, send clean ollies and have a boost out of the turn.

What's in it for the Rome Rene-Gade snowboard?

The Rene-Gade is cut for freestyle, with a directional twin shape and inserts that are slightly set back allowing switch riding, as well as a firmer tail flex to gain support on hard snow as well as float in the fluff. The classic camber delivers clean grip and generous pop for park, side-hits and committed carving, while the Sinter Speed Base ensures a fast, durable glide across the whole field.

Who is the Rome Rene-Gade snowboard for?

Ideal for intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a playful yet reliable board, capable of linking park, piste edges and sustained descents without losing precision or stability.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
