Description

Snowboarding ? You thought you knew what it meant ? Well, prepare to reconsider. Rome has thrown into this piece of art the best technologies you could dream of for adventuring through the mountain. Boasting the latest camber developped by Rome called the "No-Hang-Ups rocker", the board was designed to float pow as if it was natural and be stable like a rock. The flat midsection gives the board a strong edge hold and an easier pivot. The board is playful at slow speed and agressive at higher speed, which is pretty much what any rider could dream of.

What our testers say : A nice and versatile board offering the loose feel and the agility of a flat camber. Perfect for beginners or intermediates who wish to progress their game. The board's gentle and forgiving, it doesn't require too many calories to turn and works well on any kinds of snow. Brilliant fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
