Description

Put some colours into your ride with the District Ltd. Same board as the District but featuring different graphics. A board setting new standards in the snowboarding world. Sold at an unbeatable price, the District has tons of fun to deliver. Featuring a soft Wood 5620 core and an Amptek Autoturn profile with a twin shape and symmetrical flex, this is the deck you want if your mission is "snowpark progression". Flexible, forgiving, playful and intuitive, the Disctrict has everything you need to have fun on a snowboard from the first run on.

What our testers say : This is Rossignol's entry of range. A sweet board, super soft, making anything you attempt completely effortless. No need to carry muscles with you, the board bends and presses and butters as you lean back. Heavy riders might even find it too soft. But this flexibility makes it so fun and playful that it's worth it. It jibs, it jumps (as long as you're not going for black park sections), and it can actually carve pretty well on groomed snow. A good board that we recommend to beginner or intermediate riders looking for a new toy.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
