Description

The Meraki is a women's snowboard designed for a versatile freestyle practice. Well balanced in its flex and in its performance level, it permits you to strengthen your game step by step.

What is the programme of the Rossignol Meraki snowboard?

The Meraki has a thinner wood shell, that provides more flexibility and lightness. Combined with a classic camber in the center of the board, it allows for a nice ollie pop and bounce during turns, while keeping the board manageable and supple. The grip is good on the piste, thanks to the 3S corrugated edges, without it being too radical since the spatula rocker zones reduce the risk of edge faults and make transitions between turns easier. These rockers also make it possible to pass over the edges of the piste or small powder snow, as they absorb the impurities of the terrain. Finally, the symmetrical shape offers maximum options in freestyle, allowing you to switch without problems. Great for progression and fun!

Who is the Rossignol Meraki snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to intermediate to advanced snowboarders, who mainly ride on the slopes or in the snowpark. It's an excellent option if you want to progress in freestyle while maintaining grip on the piste and the possibility of having fun on the edges of the piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
