Description

The Rossignol Retox is a freestyle-typical snowboard aimed at snowboarders with already advanced practice. Its flex is well-balanced between power and suppleness, but what makes it radical is its classic 100% camber profile, which doesn't really forgive edge errors but does offer maximum pop and grip. Perfect for loading big snowpark tables, making big ollies with ease, etc. Stability and shock absorption are not to be outdone, helping you to cushion your landings. You can also take advantage of all its qualities to enjoy a good slice of carving on the slopes. Of course, this snowboard is perfectly twin-tip, so you can switch galore.

What are the main qualities of the Rossignol Retox snowboard?

Powerful pop

Radical grip

Flex ideal for freestyle

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
