Description

Do not expect a normal size on the Rossignol XV Sushi, it exists only in a 144 and 145 width. Indeed, its shape has been deliberately designed to be very short to provide maximum playability and manoeuvrability on small turns. With the added benefit of a generous front tip, a very directional shape and a rear foot position, it's the perfect board for slaloming through the fresh snow between the pines. If the conditions are not perfect, don't worry, its classic camber and wavy edges also offer you an efficient grip on hard snow. Finally, its L.I.T.E. construction provides responsiveness and stability, but also a nice cushioning thanks to the strategic addition of urethane in the core and along the edges.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
