Description

With the Wahine, we're moving up in the range and in performance compared to the first prize the Roxy Glow. The Roxy Wahine is equipped with a medium-soft flex and a classic camber, and only has the symmetrical shape in common with the Glow. It's a board with a touch more tonic, but still very playful and accessible.

What is the program of the Roxy Wahine snowboard?

The Roxy Wahine has a symmetrical shape. It's the typical shape of freestyle snowboards but beware, that doesn't mean you have to do tricks and go to the snowpark. And yes, it is above all ideal for progressing and having fun throughout the resort! On the piste, it offers a secure grip and allows you to draw beautiful cut turns while trying to accelerate from curve to curve. It remains low energy Consuming and allows you to descend without fatiguing. You can also pass on the edges of the piste but be aware that powder is not its forte.

Who is the Roxy Wahine snowboard for?

Accessible for a beginner but ideal for an intermediate snowboarder looking to progress while maintaining accessibility and riding comfort, this model will delight a wide range of riders looking to have fun throughout the resort!

What are the main qualities of the Roxy Wahine snowboard?

Secure grip

Ideal to progress

Polyvalent

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
