Description

The Salomon Bellevue is one of the best freeride boards for women at Salomon. It's a high-performance board, but still retains a bit of flex reducing the amount of physical effort required to ride and maintain comfort throughout the day.

What is the Salomon Bellevue snowboard program?

The Bellevue is a directional snowboard that offers great capabilities when it comes to curve and speed, whatever the conditions of the snow. It works very well on powder snow, since the tapered shape and the setback position of the binding inserts allow for a natural lift. The setback position also provides a great amount of control to the rider, making it easier to place the board in curves. For maximum precision and performance on packed and hard snow, the board has a classic camber that is well defined. Finally, the poplar core reinforced with fiberglass and carbon fiber offers bounce in turns and stability at high speed for fun when carving or for extreme off-piste rides while maintaining stability.

Who is the Salomon Bellevue snowboard designed for?

We recommend this model to experienced/expert snowboarders looking for a board that works on all types of snow and offers great performance to set the pace in the descents, whether on piste or off-piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
