Description

The Rumble Fish is a top-of-the-line model from Salomon. Its Ghost Green Core and carbon reinforcements provide explosive pop, while the Rock Out Camber, a mix of camber and rockers, works wonderfully on all types of snow. With the added bonus of a directional twin shape that provides more manoeuvrability but also better lift, you can really enjoy the entire resort no matter what the conditions are. The grip is good on hardpack snow conditions, the flotation is good enough to enjoy off-piste, and the board is tonic enough to carve on the slopes. A versatile program, especially if we add to that the ability of this board in freestyle, since it passes in switch without problem and seems ready to launch on any kicker. For added comfort, the cork reinforcements along the edges inside the board provide good shock and vibration absorption. A model of choice for experienced or expert snowboarders who ride all-mountain freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
