Description

The Salomon Team has what it takes to provide ease on the slopes, thanks to its flexible flex and flat camber. Tolerance and accessibility are the key words of this snowboard!

What is the program of the Salomon Team snowboard?

The Team has no other ambition than to make snowboarding more accessible, which can sometimes have the sad reputation of being less accessible than skiing! Nay! With its flat camber, the Team offers a very comfortable board/snow contact, reducing the risk of edge faults while offering a secure grip. It's ideal for quietly learning how to manage balance and grip, while the soft flex allows you to ride without exhaustion, ideal for light weights!  Finally, you should know that this is a twin-tip board, perfectly symmetrical, which allows you to learn to ride in both directions, aiding to develop a good ease in switching as soon as possible!

Who is the Salomon Team snowboard intended for?

This model is designed for children looking on starting snowboarding. Ideal for small frames while maintaining a robust and progressive construction, it will accompany budding young snowboarders in their discovery of snowboarding!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
