Description

Lib Tech used a winning combination of technologies to build the Nina which is a hell of a good board. It features the Magne Traction technology enhancing grip and control, it comes with a Power A core maximising lightweight and responsiveness and with a C1 profile for added floatability on powder. And as if this wasn't enough, the Nina also incorporates fibreglass reinforcements giving it more pop, just in case you felt like exploring the park for a while.

What our testers say : Another Lib Tech board, another great board. The C1 profile makes the tail very powerful and gives the board lots of grip on hard snow while the rocker carries it afloat powder effortlessly. The profile and construction allow freestyle sessions but the board is more of a freerider suited for advanced riders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
