Description

If you're wondering how to best develop and analyze your double push-up training, the Ercolina Upper Body Power + Power Meter is for you. In addition to all the features of the classic machine, you have a screen that shows you your instant arm speed, distance traveled, average force for each push-up and power in watts.

Concerning the machine itself the characteristics remain the same, its goal is to simulate perfectly the gesture of the double push in order to increase or maintain the muscular power of the skier. Its cable system allows for both muscular and technical work with total respect for the time of the push, whether it is short and intense or long and slower. It also allows to work on the coordination of the alternate step because the two resistance units are independent. The muscular work concerns all the muscle groups of the trunk and helps to stabilize the torso and the spine. This allows a fundamental and lactic work which reinforces the resistance of the skiers at the end of the race. Equipped with a magnetic brake, you can also adjust the resistance according to the type of session to be done. You can adjust the resistance between the training phases (warm-up, specific and recovery). The width can also be adjusted to fit the shoulder widths of different users and simulate their pushing gesture.

The Power Meter calculates :

- The instantaneous speed in km / h of each arm.

- The distance (in meters by averaging the two arms)

- Instantaneous rate or cadence (pushes per minute of each arm)

- The average force in Kg for each arm.

-The average power in Watts for each push and each arm.

- It is easily updated by USB connection on a computer and the dedicated software.

Although designed to perform the repetitive movements of cross-country skiing, it can also be used to develop maximum strength or explosiveness for blockers, to do intervals for speed enthusiasts and to work on endurance for cliff climbers.
