Choosing the right Evoc backpack
Evoc has a variety of backpacks, offering different features to give you exactly what you need. For example, the German brand has developed versatile ski backpacks, backpacks with back protection, backpacks with an avalanche system and backpacks that combine several of these technologies.
Backpacks with back protection
Because Evoc cares about your safety, it offers backpacks with back protection, which will protect you in case of a shock or impact on your back. In addition, if the back protector becomes dysfunctional after protecting you in a fall, the brand will send you a new one for free. Among these models, you will find the Evoc FR Guide BackLine 30L, which you will appreciate for its ergonomics and back ventilation system, and the FR Day 16L, which is more compact but also much lighter.
Backpacks with avalanche airbags
It can't be said often enough that good equipment is essential for off-piste activities. It will never guarantee your total safety, but it can still be a lifesaver in certain situations. Evoc offers several airbag backpacks: The Line R.A.S. 20, or the Line R.A.S. 30, for example, which are equipped with the removable Mammut Line R.A.S. 3.0 airbag system. It is easily activated, deploys in a matter of seconds, and works with a Mammut cartridge that is sold separately.
Hybrid backpacks
Because you might want to protect your back while enjoying the safety of an airbag, Evoc has combined these two features into bags like the Line R.A.S. Protector 22, or the Line R.A.S. Protector 32. So, with the flexible and ultra-light back protector LiteShield Plus Protector, and the possibility to install the Mammut R.A.S. airbag system, these models guarantee more safety for a few hundred extra grams.
Classic backpacks
Finally, if you don't need any specific equipment, for example if you are looking for a simple and functional backpack to ski quietly on the slopes, you can go for models such as the Patrol 40L or the Patrol 32L, whose larger capacity will ensure the transport of your complete equipment. For smaller needs, Evoc offers intermediate models: The Line 30L and the Line 20L. Smaller, they benefit from a design that is well thought out, with a system of air circulation through a main channel and several secondary ones, for optimal ventilation.
