Description
This avalanche backpack developed by Arva stands out because of its Flex technology, which consists of two parts. A base part, called Flex Frame, which includes the shoulder straps, chest strap, hip belt and back panel, it constitutes the "back" part. The second part, the Flex Cover, completes it, in this case it is a 24 litre "backpack" part. The advantage is that you can buy various Flex Covers to enjoy the ideal capacity while still benefiting from the ergonomics of the Flex Frame base. The Flex Frame and Flex Cover are attached to each other thanks to a YKK zip.
The Arva Airbag Reactor Flex 24 litres offers multiple features, in addition to the airbag system. You will find everything you need for ski touring, splitboarding or snowshoeing adventures, with attachments to carry gear on the outside, room to store safety equipment, hydration, etc.
The Arva Reactor system allows to inflate a large volume airbag that aims at preventing the skier or snowboarder from getting buried under an avalanche. It works thanks to a gas cartridge that you need to change after each use. These cartridges are sold separately. They can be made from steel, or carbon to save weight.
