Description

The Arva Tour 32 Switch airbag backpack is ingeniously designed for ski touring or splitboarding, with a sustainable design using recycled polyamide and polyester fabric. It has 2 ski carrying options, diagonal or A-frame. The double airbag and inflation system are housed in the Low Profile compartment, which is extremely compact. The weight of the whole system is balanced for comfort. 

The Arva Tour 32 Switch backpack has a total capacity of 32 litres, enough to carry everything you need for a day or more in the backcountry. The front of the backpack has a specific compartment to store your avalanche shovel and probe, essential equipment for any mountain outing. The multiple pockets make it easy to organize your belongings. Please note that the hip belt is removable, giving you the choice of whether or not to use it depending on how you plan to use the backpack.

To acquire in-depth knowledge of avalanche prevention, know how to perfectly use your avalanche beacon and be fully operational when the time comes, Glisshop recommends that you take a course with the ANENA (National Association for the Study of Snow and Avalanches). You can also contact the French Federation of Alpine Clubs, with which you can also be trained in mountain rescue and follow regular training to search for avalanche victims. 

 Arva has developed its own smartphone application (IOS and Android) to have all the useful information to prepare your backcountry outings safely (weather forecasts, avalanche risk, snowfall, route sharing, ...). It also offers a to do list to prepare your equipment to avoid forgetting anything, tutorials (safety training in the mountains), quizzes, …
