Product description — Taka 30L Glacier Grey
The Blue Ice Taka 30L backpack is designed for ski touring with an alpine approach: side ski loops, ice axe and helmet loops, a dedicated crampon pocket, a shovel/probe compartment, and a back access panel for reaching the contents while on the move. The expandable mesh pockets on the shoulder straps let you slip in a water bottle without taking off the pack.
What activities is the Blue Ice Taka 30L backpack suitable for?
Designed for day-long ski touring with a 30-liter capacity, with a focus on technical mountain terrain. The dedicated crampon pocket and ice axe loops set it apart from ski touring packs designed for the slopes or freeriding.
Are the pockets on the shoulder straps expandable?
Yes, the zippered, expandable mesh pockets on the shoulder straps can hold a water bottle or a snack. An additional water bottle pocket is also included. It is hydration-compatible (hydration bladder not included).
Is the rear opening of the Taka 30L the only access point to the main compartment?
The rear opening is the main access point. The backpack’s shoulder straps feature expandable pockets that can be accessed without taking the backpack off. The internal pocket for valuables and the shovel/probe compartment are accessible separately.
