Product description — Barryvox 1 Peak 240 Package

The ARVA Barryvox 1 Peak 240 Package includes a Barryvox 1 avalanche transceiver, an Alugator Peak shovel and a Probe 240 Speed Lock probe, providing all three essential items for avalanche search and rescue. The Barryvox 1 features three antennas, a 70-metre search strip width and receiving range, as well as audio search guidance and a circular receiving field. The compact Alugator Peak shovel has an ergonomic T-grip handle and a small blade for easy handling. The 240 cm probe comprises six aluminium sections and uses the Speed Lock system for rapid locking, even when wearing gloves.

What happens if the person carrying the Barryvox 1 is caught in a secondary avalanche?

The Auto Revert function automatically switches the avalanche transceiver back to send mode.

Can the Barryvox 1 check the group's avalanche transceivers before setting off?

Yes. The group check function lets you verify that each participant's avalanche transceiver is working correctly before departure.

Does the Probe 240 Speed Lock make it easier to determine burial depth?

Yes. It has centimetre markings on both sides, allowing the burial depth to be read directly while probing.
