Description

The Ortovox Avalanche Rescue Set 3+ pack contains a DVA 3+, an ultra-light Badger 2.5 aluminum shovel and an Alu 240 probe. This single set makes up the minimum safety equipment to have with you when freeriding or ski touring.

DVA 3+:

Easy to use, the Ortovox 3+ DVA features 3 antennas. It benefits from Smart-Antenna technology, which detects the position of a skier or snowboarder caught in an avalanche and automatically switches to the best antenna to transmit. The DVA 3+ features a backlit display showing direction, distance and number of buried persons. The multi-victim marking function records the position of each victim. Once the first victim has been located and its position recorded, you can continue the search for the next victim while your team-mates clear the first. In the extreme case of an over-avalanche in which you too could be swept away, the DVA 3+ automatically switches to transmit mode.
