Product description — Rescue Set Focus Voice Safety Black

The Ortovox Rescue Set Focus Voice avalanche safety kit combines the Focus Voice avalanche transceiver, Beast shovel and Probe 240 probe for avalanche search and rescue. The three-antenna transceiver has a search strip width of 80 to 90 metres and can detect up to four buried people. Its Smart Antenna technology, circular search zone and visual and audio guidance assist throughout the different search phases. The Beast shovel features a telescopic shaft and hybrid grip, while the 240 cm aluminium probe uses the PFA quick-release tensioning system for faster deployment.

How does the Focus Voice assist during the fine search?

It combines visual and audio guidance with voice navigation to direct the search.

What is the Focus Voice marking function used for?

It allows a detected victim to be marked so that the search can continue when several people are buried.

Can the Focus Voice be configured and updated?

Yes. Its Bluetooth compatibility with the Ortovox app allows the device to be configured and its software updated.
