Belay Device ATC

The Black Diamond ATC belay system, with its original, minimalist design, is a lightweight belay system designed for fluid use in climbing. Its geometry promotes smooth rope passage, while its enlarged working surface helps distribute heat during long abseils. The belayer accommodates a wide range of rope diameters, making it easy to integrate into different rope configurations, from single to double, depending on the equipment used. The compact format integrates easily into the harness and remains simple to handle with a suitable carabiner.
