The founder, Giancarlo Tanzi, revolutionised outdoor footwear when he launched the first mountain boot that combined leather and Cordura fabric for failproof durability. Some time later, Asolo became the first brand to release a hiking shoe with Gore-Tex membrane. Now in the hands of another Italian family specialised in shoe making, the Zanatta family, Asolo never ceases to innovate and offer products that combine tradition and innovative technologies without ever compromising on built quality nor materials.
