Red Chili

Founded in 1996 by Stefan Glowacz and Uwe Hofstädter, climbing brand Red Chili embarked on the journey of creating climbing shoes. Its signature? A red chili pepper. The brand’s flagship model, the Spirit climbing shoe, was launched in 2005. Since then, Red Chili has expanded its offering with a line of climbing apparel. In 2017, Red Chili Climbing merged with Edelrid and quickly released the Fusion LV climbing shoe. In 2019, the brand introduced the Red Chili Urban Tour, an initiative promoting its climbing shoes in climbing gyms. Climbers were able to test the products directly in their gyms and form their own opinions on the spot.
