Red Chili

Founded in 1996 by Stefan Glowacz and Uwe Hofstädter, climbing brand Red Chili embarked on the journey of creating climbing shoes. Its signature? A red chili pepper. The brand’s flagship model, the Spirit climbing shoe, was launched in 2005. Since then, Red Chili has expanded its offering with a line of climbing apparel. In 2017, Red Chili Climbing merged with Edelrid and quickly released the Fusion LV climbing shoe. In 2019, the brand introduced the Red Chili Urban Tour, an initiative promoting its climbing shoes in climbing gyms. Climbers were able to test the products directly in their gyms and form their own opinions on the spot.

Spirit

Its side and toe rigidity make it a precise choice for slab climbing when you need to balance on the tiniest footholds.

This model is also available in an LV (low volume) version, offering a narrower fit for climbers with slender feet.

The Red Chili Ventic Air was designed for maximum comfort, allowing climbers to wear it for hours on end, whether indoors or outdoors. Easy to slip on thanks to its breathable and elastic knitted mesh, the Ventic Air keeps your feet cool even in summer. It’s the perfect climbing shoe for beginners. Despite its focus on comfort, this model doesn’t compromise on performance, offering good rigidity and toe precision. You can confidently improve your skills, tackle grades in the 5s, and progress into the 6s or beyond. This model is available in both Velcro and lace-up versions.
