Stiga’s headquarters are located in Eskilstuna - Sweden, a small town east of Stockholm. Stiga specialized in the production of table tennis tables in 1944 and is still going strong nowadays as one of the market’s leader. Very appreciated by professionals players and amateurs alike, the brand also manufactures its own nets, balls, racquets and rubber coatings.
In 1957, Stiga started manufacturing hockey tables and success wasn’t long to come knocking with a genuine craze for this scale-model sport that can be played alone, on 1 vs 1 or in pairs.
One year later, n 1958, Stiga made a bold and unexpected move when it started building lawnmowers. This activity, so far from its first field of expertise, Stiga sold it in 2000, to put all its focus on indoor and outdoor sporting goods. Stiga notably worked on products related to sliding sports and gave birth to the Snowracer, a drivable sledge with a steering wheel and 3 mini-skis.
Stiga also developed the Snow Kick that happily combines scooter and snowscoot.
Stiga even offers its own range of Snowskates. Crossover between skate and snowboard, the snowskate is made for freestyle rather than for going down the slopes. It will let you pull off the same tricks than your skate while gliding on the snow!
