Description
The Blue Ice Blast is a climbing and mountaineering helmet designed for maximum compactness during demanding ascents. Its hybrid construction features a single-piece EPP shell, complemented by EPS inserts at the front and top to optimise shock absorption. An aramid reinforcement and a polycarbonate protective layer enhance overall durability without increasing bulk. This particularly slim profile reduces clutter and ensures seamless integration with other technical equipment, making the helmet discreet in motion while meeting safety standards. The fit system relies on a harness made from soft tubular straps, guaranteeing stability and precise adjustment. The SR closure buckle is specifically sized for easy handling with gloves. For early starts in the dark, clips and elastic loops provide secure attachment for a head torch. Ventilation is ensured by large openings distributed across the shell, promoting breathability during intense activity. Finally, its low-profile shape prevents interference with sunglasses frames or goggles.
