Description

When footholds get small and placements require precision, the Mad Rock D2.One HV climbing shoe offers a balance between support and sensitivity. This high-volume (HV) model is designed for climbers with medium to wide feet, a pronounced instep, or a more developed heel. The widened elastic across the top of the foot adapts to various foot shapes while maintaining even support without excessive pressure points. The hook-and-loop closure allows for quick adjustments between attempts. Its construction features a hybrid midsole made from compressed polyester and polycarbonate, striking an ideal balance between stiffness and sensitivity. This structure enables you to make use of micro footholds while still providing support during powerful moves. The aggressive profile combined with pronounced asymmetry channels power towards the front of the foot. The 3D-moulded heel, paired with Science Friction rubber, ensures excellent stability on heel-hooks, while the compressed toe box enhances precision on technical holds.
