Description
The Scarpa Drago LV is a top-of-the-range climbing shoe, designed for optimal bouldering performance and also usable on technical routes. This low volume model of the Drago benefits from an update to its shape, particularly in the heel area for improved support, and around the forefoot to reduce overall volume. The width of the climbing shoe has also been slightly reduced for better adaptation.
The PCB tension system under the foot of the Drago LV ensures powerful power transfer to the big toe, allowing for intense loading on the tip. This system, combined with the very asymmetrical and cambered shape of the climbing shoe, guarantees maximum precision and power on micro-holds.
The Vibram XS Grip 2 sole is strategically positioned to offer exceptional grip thanks to its great flexibility. Reinforcements at the heel and on top of the foot also optimise hooking possibilities. The Scarpa Drago LV is designed to be resoled, with resoling services offered by Vibram.
Regarding size choice, Scarpa recommends not going down more than two sizes compared to your street shoe size. Although personal preferences vary, it is generally observed that most climbers choose Scarpa climbing shoes half a size to one size smaller than their street shoes.
