Product description — IPS60 Adapter Slate

The Igloo IPS60 is a 60 W AC adapter that allows you to plug a 12 V electric cooler into a wall outlet. It converts the 100–240 V from your home, hotel, or campsite into 12 V / 5 A, the same power supply as a car’s cigarette lighter. Compact (10 x 9 x 3.3 cm, 280 g), it fits into the cooler’s cable compartment.

Which coolers is it useful for?

For 12 V coolers that do not have a built-in AC outlet ("DC" models): it allows you to pre-cool them at home the night before you leave, or to use them at a campground or in a RV. "AC/DC" or ICF models, which come with their own power cord, do not need it. Make sure your cooler’s power consumption does not exceed 60 W.

Does it work abroad?

Yes. The 100–240 V input covers electrical systems in Europe, North America, and Asia; you may only need a plug adapter.
