Product description — Trailmate 52 Qt Roller Cooler Carbonite
The Igloo Trailmate 52 Roller is the large wheeled hard cool box in the Trailmate range: 52 quarts, or approximately 49 litres, with room for up to 80 cans for a family weekend away, a group beach day or an extended camp. Its blow-moulded shell, foam-insulated walls around 4 cm thick, insulated lid and sealing gasket keep ice frozen for several days. The 16 cm Soft Ride wheels and telescopic handle let you pull it fully loaded across sand or tracks rather than carrying it between two people, while the wide side handles make it easy to load into the boot.
Does it roll well over sand or gravel?
Yes. The 16 cm Soft Ride wheels are designed for uneven ground, and the telescopic handle adjusts so you can tow the cool box without stooping. Please note: it must be fully lowered in order to open the lid.
Does the lid stay shut during transport?
Yes. The Sure-Lock rubber latches can be closed with two fingers and secure the lid against its seal, even when the cool box is being pulled over rough ground or jostled around in a car boot. The oversized hinges are built to withstand repeated opening and closing.
Which accessories are built in?
A locking plate that accepts a padlock (not supplied) and doubles as a bottle opener, two self-draining cup holders in different sizes in the lid, and a threaded drain plug for emptying meltwater without having to tip the cool box over.
