We are offering snowboards for sale with cosmetic defects. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. The screen printing was scratched during transport or while being stored in our warehouse. A grading system based on their condition has been established: This snowboard has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

The Capita Mega Death is an upgraded version of The Black Snowboard Of Death, a snowboard with a directional design and flex that guarantee great versatility and efficiency on all types of terrain, regardless of snow conditions. This board also benefits from cutting-edge technologies that give it lightness, power, responsiveness, and increased shock absorption capabilities.

What is the Capita Mega Death DA*** snowboard made for?

Thanks to its directional design, flex, and stance, the Mega Death offers exceptional precision and performs admirably on all types of snow. Turns are easily negotiable, the board effortlessly lifts in powder thanks to the front and rear rockers, and the traditional camber ensures optimal grip on hard snow. However, Capita has taken excellence even further with this enhanced version of their premium board. The Mega Death is equipped boasts and more durable structure while offering excellent shock absorption properties. Additional carbon and flax fibres have been strategically added to increase power and improve vibration absorption. Finally, the flex is controlled by a double layer of triaxial fibreglass, which makes for a more powerful and stable board even at high speeds, while remaining comfortable during presses, as it is not too stiff. A true Swiss Army knife for shredding the resort all day long.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
