Product description — Manifest Da ***

We sell items with cosmetic defects. This board is brand new, covered by the manufacturer's warranty and has no construction or manufacturing defects: its topsheet has a scratch, caused during transport or storage in our warehouse. It is rated 3 stars: almost new, with barely visible defects.

The K2 Manifest is a versatile freeride board designed for riders who want to explore the whole resort. It is equally at home on the piste and in fresh snow, with a lively, precise feel.

What is the K2 Manifest snowboard all about?

It is a versatile freeride board that performs well everywhere, with a preference for groomed pistes and hard carving. Its directional twin shape is largely symmetrical with a slight offset, striking a balance between easy switch riding and all-mountain behaviour. Its hybrid camber places camber underfoot for grip and pop, and rocker at the ends for forgiveness and float.

Who is the K2 Manifest snowboard for?

It suits intermediate to advanced snowboarders who want to refine their technique on all types of terrain.

  • Riders who enjoy long, sweeping turns on piste
  • Snowboarders who happily head into the side country and powder
  • Riders who try a few jumps in the resort

A good choice if you are looking for a precise, stable board at speed. Best avoided if you spend your days on the rails in the snowpark.

Frequently asked questions about the K2 Manifest snowboard

Is the Manifest stiff?

Yes, its fairly stiff flex delivers rebound and precision. It rewards committed riding but is less forgiving than a very soft board.

Can you take it out in powder?

Yes, its rocker in the tip helps it float in fresh snow, even though it is still more at home on groomed snow.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
