The Grivel G12 Lt is designed for mountaineering, with a 12-point steel configuration that delivers secure grip on snow, ice and mixed terrain. The LT construction reduces overall weight thanks to an optimised material thickness, without compromising durability under repeated use. The proactive Antibott system at the front and rear helps limit snow build-up under the crampon while moving. Thanks to the Grivel Crampon System (G.C.S.), the components are interchangeable so you can adjust the setup according to the terrain and the boot used.

Yes, the front and rear anti-balling plates reduce snow compaction under the sole while walking.
