The semi-automatic mountaineering crampons Grivel Ski Tour New-Matic Evo promise great grip thanks to their 10 steel spikes, split between front and rear. They are deliberately short to facilitate walking. The New Matic system secures them in place. The front and rear anti-snags limit the accumulation of snow under the crampons.

Why do these crampons have 10 points rather than 12?

The 10-point configuration favors more comfortable walking, while retaining the grip necessary for mountaineering.

What are the front and rear anti-snags for?

They help limit the formation of snow clogs under the crampons during progression.
