The Twin Skin Carbon Pro has been enjoying a solid reputation for a few years, making it on the most efficient skin ski on the market. Its structure is the equivalent of the former Carbonlite ski structure, which says a lot about the build quality and performance level of this model.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Twin Skin Carbon Pro Medium Nordic ski?

Regarding the camber, Fischer opted for the camber 902 for this model, the most versatile for classic style. This camber offers larger contact areas at the nose and tail, providing more directness and versatility. Indeed, a shorter camber has less a tendency to anchor the tip in deep snow, which is good news. The Medium stiffness is, according to us, the most suitable to be used on various types of snow, it offers more stiffness on compact snow without penalising the behaviour of the ski on soft snow, you can thank the combination of the camber 902 and Medium flex for that! The World Cup Plus base is ideal for Europe and works perfectly between 0 to –10 °C. When it comes to the structure, nothing out of the ordinary, but a proven design with the combination of honeycomb/carbon that ensures good guiding quality off-tracks and more dynamism for the push. Lightweight, dynamic on the kick phase, the last thing to talk about is the grip. This Twin Skin Carbon belongs with classic skis featuring skins, it’s quite natural that it features Twin Skin 100 % mohair dual strip skins, designed to eliminate friction and have the lowest impact on glide. Regarding the grip, it requires a proper posture and doesn’t forgive bad technique a lot.

Useful information:

  • All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
  • All Fischer Nordic skis feature IFP plates for Turnamic bindings compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
