Description
As respectable Norwegians, the people at Madshus have always had at heart to develop very high-level classic skis. Classic being the ruling technique in Scandinavia it could not be otherwise. The Redline Skin is here to prove it with an identical construction to the one found on World Cup skis but with skins for a simpler use and less trouble when it comes to maintenance.
What are the characteristics of the Madshus Redline Skin Nordic ski?
On the entire Redline range, the construction principles are the same, a PR 100X core wrapped in a layer of triaxial glass fibre. This structure provides some ease to flatten the ski while relying on substantial dynamism in the push. This ensures a direct energy feedback and more efficiency when needed. Off tracks it is also all good and the construction plays a prominent role in the ski’s ability to remain balanced even on the most compact snow. Regarding grip, like on any high-end classic ski, the Redline Skin features 100 % mohair skins, that is to say the best balance between grip and glide. Technically very advanced, it requires skills to exploit its full potential and find grip in difficult sections. The P300 Nano base features a versatile cold structure that is suitable for snow temperatures between 0 et -10°C. While it is not the most accessible ski in our classic catalogue, it is without a doubt the one of the most efficient and its behaviour matches its performance level.

Expect for waxable race skis, this is one of the most efficient skis. It features the same construction as World Cup skis, which means it is meant for skilled skiers who want an efficient model but without the need for grip wax. We recommend it for training and intensive use.
